I finally got over to Gamcheon Culture Village this weekend with Linda. On Saturday, it rained all day as rainy season has now arrived in Korea. Come Sunday the weather was a better with just a foggy cloud coming off the sea. When we drove from Jangsan to Gamcheon we kept going in and out of the fog, thankfully the culture village was quite clear and ended up being very sunny.
We walked all around the culture village, it was very busy because it’s a big tourist destination. The history behind it is during the Korean war when lots of refugees came to Busan they built their houses on the hills. All the houses are different bright colours so it’s really nice to look at. We just walked around looked at the views, went to a cafe and also had some lunch at an English restuarant. We ate suassages & mash and fish & chips which were really good. It was fun walking around all the little houses and alleyways, it was very cute.
Later in the afternoon back in Jangsan. We went down to the beach for a quick lie down on the sand. It was still quite cloudy in Haeundae but was still warm. I ended up sleeping for a bit after reading. It was very relaxing.
During the week, me and Linda made burger wraps from a recipe I found on Instagram they were delicious.
